For "my stuff", with guitarish licks, radical tone variations & infinitely variable dynamics - the Dark Star is unbelievable. The Beech bridge was at 1.9 g , very thin, but stable and might I add looks pretty nice too. This is by far the best bridge I ever tried. I like the thickness (same as the Snuffy) and the slight rearward angle that it sits onalso like the Snuffy bridge. I had a student play my banjo back to me today and I liked the sound very much.
